Check Valve: Valve core
Dry powder valve is one of the core components of dry powder fire extinguisher, which determines the operating efficiency and safety of fire extinguisher. In home fire prevention, dry powder valve provides key operation for extinguishing initial fire by controlling the release and spraying of dry powder fire extinguishing agent.
Dry powder valve realizes the opening of valve core through manual operation, so that the dry powder fire extinguishing agent stored in the pressure tank can be sprayed out quickly. This design can ensure rapid response in the initial stage of home fire (such as oil pan fire, electrical short circuit), and effectively suppress the spread of fire. Dry powder fire extinguisher can deal with common household fires of Class A (solid fire), Class B (liquid fire), Class C (gas fire) and Class E (electrical fire), such as kitchen grease burning, gas leakage or electrical self-ignition. The structural design of the valve enables it to adapt to different pressure environments and fire types, ensuring that the fire extinguishing agent evenly covers the fire source. The valve is equipped with a sealing ring to isolate air and moisture when not in use to prevent dry powder from agglomerating and failing. Some valves are also equipped with safety pins or anti-reset devices to prevent children from accidentally touching or accidentally triggering them.
When a frying pan catches fire, the dry powder valve can quickly spray dry powder to cover the flames, while avoiding the splashing of oil fires that may be caused by water-based fire extinguishing, reducing the risk of re-ignition. The non-conductive properties of dry powder fire extinguishing agents make them suitable for extinguishing electrical fires. The valve design ensures that the dry powder evenly covers the live equipment during spraying, blocking the combustion chain reaction, and causing less pollution to electrical components.
