The sprayed water does not simply shoot out in a straight line, but is guided by a special structure inside the nozzle to form a parabolic spray. This parabolic spray design allows the water flow to cover a wider ground area, not just the small space directly under the nozzle.
This wide coverage area is critical to fighting fires. When a fire breaks out, the fire source often spreads quickly, forming one or more fire points.
